Green your mindset:

Climate adaption: the current discourse for climate change. It professes that no longer is there the impending threat of climate change, our climate has already changed and will continue to do so.

In the last century the average surface temperature has increased by 1.33°F, and is projected to increase from 3.24°F to 7.2°F by 2100 (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 4th Assessment).

Ocean temperature has increased .67°F in the uppermost 300 meters since 1950 (Climate Change Effects: Global and Local Views).

Driving Log

Last year I drove 5,335.6 miles and emitted about 4,270 pounds of carbon dioxide. This year I hope to drive 5,000 miles at most.

In 2010 I estimated that I drove 2,310 miles. That year remains as the carbon dioxide level to beat.

08.19.11 - Chicago - one way
08.23.11 - Spokane/DC
11.23.11 - Chicago/DC
